Appointments

We operate our surgeries under the open access system which means patients are offered same day appointments with the duty doctor

If there are no appointments available and you consider your problem to be URGENT you will be offered a telephone assessment with the duty doctor.

If you wish to speak to the doctor but do not require an appointment please ring after morning surgery.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, TO ENABLE US TO OFFER IT TO ANOTHER PATIENT.

These 3 sessions each week are for prebooked appointments only. During annual leave these surgeries may be subject to change.

Surgery times may vary at both sites according to the availability of the doctors.

Advanced Booking

Patients are now able to book appointments up to one month in advance.

Five appointments each day are made available per surgery session for advanced boookings. 

If you find you can not keep an appointment you have booked please contact the surgery as soon as possible to allow us to offer them to other patients.

You can cancel appointments th reception, by telephone or online.

Home Visits

Please request visits before 10.00 in the morning so that the visits can be planned rationally.

Patients who are well enough to attend surgery but not to wait in the waiting room should inform the receptionist.

It is much better, whenever possible, that consultations are conducted in the surgery where we have full facilities for examinations and investigation.
